Paloma

Mexico's most popular tequila cocktail — even more beloved than the Margarita south of the border. Blanco tequila, fresh lime, and grapefruit soda (Jarritos or Squirt) served over ice with a salt rim. Refreshing, bubbly, and dangerously easy to drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 4-5 oz grapefruit soda (Jarritos Toronja or Squirt)
  • Coarse salt for rim (optional)
  • Grapefruit wedge and lime wheel for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Salt the rim of a tall Collins glass (optional).
  2. 2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. 3. Add tequila and lime juice.
  4. 4. Top with grapefruit soda and stir gently 3-4 times.
  5. 5. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and lime wheel.
