Cantarito
A traditional Jalisco cocktail served in a clay cup (cantarito). Blanco tequila, fresh orange, grapefruit, and lime juices with a splash of grapefruit soda. Bright, citrusy, and served over ice with a Tajín-salt rim. The ultimate Mexican street cocktail.

Ingredients
- 2 oz blanco tequila
- 1 oz fresh orange juice
- 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/4 oz simple syrup (optional)
- 2 oz grapefruit soda (Jarritos or Squirt)
- Tajín and coarse salt for rim
- Lime wheel and orange slice for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Mix Tajín and salt on a plate. Rub lime around rim of a glass and dip in the mix.
- 2. Fill the glass with ice.
- 3. Add tequila, all three juices, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice.
- 4. Shake for 15 seconds.
- 5. Strain into the prepared glass.
- 6. Top with grapefruit soda and stir gently.
- 7. Garnish with a lime wheel and orange slice.
