Rocket Man
A blast-off worthy cocktail — rum, apricot brandy, vermouth, and pear syrup with a sour foam top. Fruity, complex, and layered. Inspired by space travel and Elton John. A sophisticated space cocktail for when you want to feel like you're floating in a tin can.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz aged rum
- 1/2 oz apricot brandy
- 1/2 oz sweet vermouth (or Bianco)
- 1/2 oz pear syrup (or simple syrup with pear liqueur)
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz soda water
- Pear slice for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Add rum, apricot brandy, vermouth, pear syrup, and lemon juice to a shaker with ice.
- 2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- 3. Strain into a Collins glass filled with crushed ice.
- 4. Top with soda water.
- 5. Garnish with a pear slice.
- 6. And I think it's gonna be a long, long time.
